alan gave me amazon prime this year for christmas. so that was what, a week ago? and i am already obsessed. it might be the greatest thing ever. free shipping on almost all amazon orders (save for the stuff sold by 3rd parties who like to charge $12 for shipping which is BS) and the shipping speed is always 2-day priority.
my mom needed help with a few last-minute christmas gifts, so we ordered 2 things on thursday around 3pm. In order to get them before christmas, i upgraded to 1-day shipping for 3.99 per item. and received both things less than 24 hours later, on friday.
if i could continue to gush, i think i love this so much because it cuts out the only bad parts about online shopping—the shipping costs and the wait time. love it. recommend it. must enjoy this before the government insists on taxing me for internet purchases. now if you’ll excuse me i’m about to order a mug (yes, still on the mugs).
