most amazing espresso drinks, hot and cold version
1. peet’s coffee iced latte. i love peet’s. i went there while i was on production every day in LA, was sad to say goodbye, and then realized we have one in chicago. nice. but this latte, you guys. the first day i ordered this, i saw the girl begin to steam milk and i was all OH BROTHER are they seriously going to brew a latte and then pour it over ice. aaaahhh. but no. they just STEAM THE MILK and pour it in the bottom. and then they pour over the cold milk and the ice and the espresso. the result is wonderfully delicious.
2. cappuccino at caffe de luca in chicago. if you scooped out this foam, put it on a plate, and turned that plate upside down, the foam would stay put. one must break through this wall of foam every time they go for a drink. which is just the way it needs to be.
conclusion: i just dedicated 752 characters to foam.
